    Essential Duties

    The Senior Accountant works in conjunction with the Controller and Assistant Controller to perform varied accounting responsibilities including day-to-day accounting activity, monthly close, financial reporting and account reconciliations, and a review of accounts payable, general ledger activity and payroll transactions.

    • Prepare and distribute daily cash status report to Leadership team
    • Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts for Leadership review and analysis
    • Ensure timely and accurate input and reporting of financial transactions
    • Assist in preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close calendar
    • Prepare and coordinate monthly balance sheet reconciliations
    • Assist with monthly financial statement variance analysis
    • Prepare monthly financial reports for subsidiaries
    • Assist with year-end 1099 processing
    • Assist with financial and tax audits
    • Handle special projects as assigned

    General Job Responsibilities

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
    • 3 to 5 years accounting experience

    • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
    • Highly detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
    • Strong understanding of accounting theory (GAAP)
    • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
    • Ability to act and operate independently, with minimal supervision
    • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Dynamics and Quickbooks
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities
