    Essential Duties

    The Sleep Clinical Manager is responsible for the oversight of operational and clinical activities within assigned sleep lab sites including direct supervision of Sleep Technologists. The Sleep Clinical Manager serves as a clinical liaison between physicians, hospital clients, corporate office staff, lab staff, scorers, schedulers and patients. Additionally, the Sleep Clinical Manager is responsible for providing oversight to the employee orientation, training and continuing education process of the Sleep Department staff.

    General Job Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate familiarity with advanced technical analysis of polysomnographic procedures
    • Perform routine and intermediate level polysomnographic studies, CPAP titrations on both adult and pediatric patients
    • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company practices
    • Interact with patients, physicians, coworkers and visitors in a courteous, professional manner
    • Efficient and strategic scheduling of Sleep Technicians
    • Oversight, maintenance and organization of all sleep center locations to ensure compliance with national guidelines including  cleanliness and inventory supply levels
    • Responsible for hiring, orienting, performance improvement initiatives, reporting and training of Sleep Technicians
    • Maintain inventory levels and Polysomnographic equipment, including troubleshooting of systems and assist in analysis and need for new machines as warranted
    • Become familiar with, and proficient in, all company systems
    • Manage escalated patient issues
    • Communicate effectively and work professionally in conjunction with the Sleep Operations Manager and across all departments
    • Perform other duties assigned

    General Job Requirements


    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 3-5 years of experience as an RPSGT in a sleep lab setting
    • Minimum 1 year of previous management experience


    • Previous scoring experience
    • Possess and demonstrate high-level supervisory, problem solving and training skills
    • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities
    • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups, including C-Level staff members
    • Computer literate with proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word
    • Able to travel up to 75% to various sites as needed
    • Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, and weekend rotation
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision

    Required Licenses/Certification:

    • American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) Program required
    • RPSGT, RT, CRT or RRT certification required

    Physical Requirements:

    • Able to sit for extended periods of time
    • Able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and kneel
