    Job Overview:

    The Field Sales Trainer is responsible for serving as a regional resource to the Sales Team.  The Field Sales Trainer will conduct in-field ride alongs, providing ongoing and ad hoc training to assist the Medical Sales Representatives improve product knowledge, clinical acumen and sales acumen.

    Essential Duties

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop and implement ongoing sales training programs within assigned region
    • Proactively work with Sales Leadership to discuss field insights and develop/modify move forward strategies
    • Create metrics and develop measurement tools to assess training efficacy
    • During field visits, assess evolving training/educational needs
    • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts across the Company to create, refine and enhance field sales training content and programs
    • Generate reporting on field training activities and metrics to present to Senior Leadership
    • Continuously track, monitor and report on sales performance and progress within assigned region
    • Support a wide variety of highly prioritized projects, as well as complete ad hoc projects and requests that allow the Sales Team to focus on driving sales and profit
    • Track learning and training successes in order to report to Management and internal stakeholders
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    General Job Requirements

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.   Bachelor’s degree is preferred
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in training, preferably in medical sales
    • Prior medical sales experience strongly preferred

     

    Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to create training curricula
    • Proven knowledge of adult learning practices and various delivery methods
    • Superior facilitation skills
    • Ability to stay abreast of emerging trends in education/training methodology
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities
    • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Superior organizational skills
    • Ability to adjust priorities as circumstances dictate
    • Ability to travel at least 75% of the time
    • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
