    Essential Duties

    The Regional Tech Manager will oversee EEG Technicians in their assigned region. The Regional Tech Manager is responsible for the hiring, supervision, ongoing training and development of assigned EEG Technicians.  Also responsible for traveling with EEG Technicians to patients’ homes, observing the Technician’s technical skills, customer service skills and overall acumen in setting up or disconnecting a patient.  Responsible for dealing with escalated patient issues.

    General Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the hiring, training, development and mentorship of all EEG technicians in assigned region
    • Overall accountability for the requisition, care and maintenance of unit inventory, equipment and supplies
    • Travel with EEG Technicians and observe set ups and disconnects.  Provide ongoing training and coaching to Technicians to improve technical skills and communication skills
    • Recommend and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures designed to improve operational efficiency
    • Oversee various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance evaluation, coaching and counseling
    • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
    • Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to ensure patient needs are met
    • Effectively interact with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare workers
    • Work within the scope of the American Society of EEG Technology guidelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards 
    • Handle escalated patient issues
    • Demonstrate commitment to the vision, mission and values of Alliance Family of Companies 
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    General Job Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • EEG.T credentialing by the Board of Registered Neuro-diagnostic Technologists through ABRET preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in EEG clinical setting
    • Minimum of 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a clinical setting

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities
    • Available to travel overnight, up to 50% to remote sites as needed
    • Superior patient and customer service skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word and Excel
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Proven ability to hire, train and mentor a team
    • Outstanding data and analytical skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
    • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to react calmly in emergency situations and make appropriate and timely decisions

    • CPR certified 
    • Current driver license with valid insurance
