    Essential Duties

    The Helpdesk Technician provides support to staff on all Lifelines iEEG hardware and software applications.  Responsible for installing and configuring Lifelines iEEG computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and application problems as they arise.

    General Job Responsibilities

    • Install and configure Lifelines iEEG hardware operating systems and applications
    • Provide technical support for all iEEG-related issues in person, via telephone and remotely
    • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
    • Support the rollout of new hardware and software
    • Troubleshoot and solve common IT issues
    • Prioritize, manage and respond to multiple work orders in a timely, professional manner
    • Test and evaluate new technology
    • Establish good working relationships with customers, distributors and other professionals
    • Escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner
    • Perform routine laptop/desktop hardware repair as required
    • Document incidents as needed
    • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
    • Responsible for asset and inventory management
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    General Job Requirements


    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 3+ years’ experience in providing IT support in a business environment


    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Strong customer service skills, including ability to listen, interpret and explain computer-related concepts in non-technical terms.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to multi-task and solve problems efficiently and quickly
    • Demonstrated knowledge of networking, MS SQL databases and remote control
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software
    • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware
    • Experience with a corporate IT ticket system
    • Experience with asset and software tracking
