    Essential Duties

    The Regional Sales Manager will lead the efforts of the sales team for their assigned region, managing Sales Representatives in promoting and selling Ambulatory Video EEG/EKG and Home Sleep Test diagnostic tests/services to HCPs. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for working with the Vice President of Sales in development and execution of the sales strategy, and will serve as a key information holder regarding the marketplace and, thus, react appropriately to assigned markets as needed. They will also be responsible for leading the recruiting, hiring and coordination of training of sales representatives, as well as identification of potential expansion markets and strategic initiatives.

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Management & leadership of sales personnel in assigned region
    • Hire, develop and oversee the work of a team of direct reports
    • Coordinate with Sales Training department to provide continuing sales training within region, identifying opportunities for learning and development
    • Ensure region meets/exceeds quarterly sales goals and targets
    • Lead regional and territory business planning and strategy
    • Monitor regional expense budgets to ensure compliance and optimal use of resources
    • Continuously track, monitor and report on sales performance and progress
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    General Job Responsibilities

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.   Bachelor’s degree is preferred
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in medical sales, with 3 years’ management experience

    • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities
    • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Superior organizational skills
    • Ability to adjust priorities as circumstances dictate
    • Ability to travel 75% of the time
    • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

    Required Licenses/Certification:

    • Current driver license with proof of valid automobile insurance
