    Essential Duties

    The Expectation for Success:


    The EEG Reader/Editor condenses or "prunes"/"clips" electroencephalograph (EEG) study results using a standard EEG reporting template and specialized equipment to detect and locate brain abnormalities.

    General Job Responsibilities

    Day in the Life:

    • Pre-screens and prunes EEG studies conducted on patients in preparation for the Neurologists review
    • Inputs patient demographics and exam details into a report format for the Neurologists review
    • Works within the scope of the American Society of EEG Technology guidelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
    • Provides expert knowledge of EEG pattern recognition
    • Demonstrates and models commitment to the vision, mission and values of Alliance Family of Companies
    • PLEASE NOTE: This is not a Clinical setting, it is an office environment. You will have no patient/physician interaction

    General Job Requirements

    General Job Requirements:

    • High School Diploma equivalent is required; Associates Degree in Neurophysiology or associate science is preferred 
    • Minimum of 2+ years of EEG experience and 1 year of Pruning experience is required
    • Located in San Bruno, CA Office--NOT REMOTE POSITION 
    • Must provide proof of R.EEG.T credentialing by the Board of Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologists through ABRET
    • Extensive experience in EEG analysis programs
    • Must be able to sit for an extended period
    • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Detail oriented, organized with excellent oral and written communication skills
